Elections Canada has some rules:
- No corporations, no unions, no organizations may donate — only individualsÂ
- >$20 we require your first and last name and address (receipt)
- >$200 we require your first and last name and address (receipt) Â Â Elections Canada keeps a listÂ
- The maximum allowed donation in a year is $1750Â
- Tax-deductible receipts are only available for donations made once the campaign is called. Â
